Building this site for my old friend Alicia Eler was a great exercise in flexibility. First of all, I started creating it just before the folks at StudioPress released their new Genesis theme framework. So the first gear-shift came when I saw the possibilities of their spankin’ new Genesis-powered Executive child theme achieving the big visual things Alicia wanted – a very visual presentation of her written work.
The second big shift came when her work situation drastically changed, which required the site to be less of a collection of writings and blogs and more of a branding hub for her new social media consulting business. This shift came at just the right time, and the tweak-ability of the StudioPress theme made this shift possible without starting from scratch.
After all of this I really couldn’t be more leased with how the site looks, and Alicia is already doing a great job adding new content even before we’ve had our training session! Please take a few minutes to peruse my latest creation, AliciaEler.com
